The New Life takes inspiration from the human anatomy in order to imagine how synthetic life may look and behave. Multi-material 3d printed joints, modeled off the human knee, and muscle-wire articulate these genetic experiments.

The New Life is a project that explores the biomimetic qualities of Multi-Material 3d Printing. The creatures designed for this project were based on abstracted human physiology, in particular the knee joint, and articulated by muscle wire.
